The Trade Northern Ontario (TNO) project is a collaborative community economic development initiative that researches, develops and facilitates trade opportunities for Northern Ontario businesses with a focus on creating long-term sustainable employment and economic opportunities.

The purpose of the TNO program is to provide trade advisory client services to companies for the betterment of the regional Northern Ontario economy. TNO trade advisor consultants are aware, focused, and keenly able to adapt to the ever-changing economic environment unique to Northern Ontario.

Critical to the sustained vitality of the Northern Ontario economy is the trade-related momentum developed over the past decade, and delivered now by the TNO program. This trade momentum will be further supported and strengthened through private sector market expansions, public sector delivery of trade programs, stakeholder and senior government funding partnerships.
