The purpose of this study is to analyze the possible environmental impacts of potential granite quarrying in the Lount Lake area and to identify local land and resource users in the vicinity of the potential quarry sites. There are six potential quarry sites being considered for granite quarry operations in the study area; Forgotten Lake, Direct Lake, Wonderland Lake, Pick Lake, South Wreck Lake, Shotgun Lake. This study analyzes the possible environmental impact of five of those sites.
