The abundance of good granite formations in a range of diverse colours in close proximity to each other continue to make Northwestern Ontario one of the world’s largest under-utilized granite resources. Most importantly, this study will demonstrate the long term economic viability of such a facility. The proposed Granite Fabricating and Quarrying Facility, which will be known as Boundary Stone Inc., will focus on promoting Northwestern Ontario stones. The objective of the project is to establish in Northwestern Ontario a single source responsible facility which can profitably, and on an ongoing basis, deliver turnkey granite projects.
